Rouge Beauty isn't the norm when it comes to traditional hair and beauty products and were looking to create a culture and a movement, not just sell products. They are forward-thinking and rule-bending and want their brand to reflect that.
The design needed to allow the portfolio brands to shine, whilst still establishing Rogue Beauty as a recognizable and reputable parent company with personality. Drawing on the inherent contradiction of what it means to be a Rogue Beauty, subtle and minimal elements like typography were sharply contrasted with bold and distinctive image treatments. A little rough and edgy but still modern, sophisticated and totally memorable to reflect the dualistic nature of the brand.
